Alissa Mailen Perrotto is the President/CEO of the Sexual Assault Resource & Counseling Center (SARCC) of Lebanon & Schuylkill Counties. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Social Science Economics and Philosophy, with a concentration in Women’s Studies from the University of Scranton and a master’s degree in Community Psychology and Social Change from the Pennsylvania State University.
Ali’s career has included work at local, state, and national levels. She began as a Child Advocate for The Sexual Assault Resource and Counseling Center (SARCC). In this role, Ali met regularly with children and their families who had experienced sexual violence and abuse. She frequently traveled to Harrisburg to accompany families to their Children’s Advocacy Center interviews before such a center was established in Lebanon County. During her tenure, SARCC established a Therapy Department to serve clients with significant needs.
In 2019, under Ali’s leadership, SARCC was named Non-Profit of the Year by the Lebanon Valley Chamber of Commerce. Ali has played a key role in making SARCC a trauma-informed and anti-oppression agency, aiming to change community norms in Lebanon for future generations. Her inclusive standards ensure SARCC supports survivors and works to prevent long-term violence in Lebanon County.
Ali also received the Children’s Champion Award from the UPMC Children’s Advocacy Center of Central Pennsylvania, recognizing her contributions to children’s protection, treatment, education, and welfare. Additionally, Ali is a founding member of the Lebanon Chapter of NAACP and served as chair of the Lebanon County Commission for Women.
