Nominated by Jill Fidler

Rebecca (Becky) Witherite has been employed with Fulton Bank for over 30 years, where she has established herself as a leader in the banking industry. She excelled during that time as a Commercial Relationship Manager serving Lebanon County businesses, municipalities, and non-profit organizations. Throughout her career, Becky has received numerous corporate awards in recognition of her sales and expertise in working with her clients. Recently, Becky began a new role as a Senior Commercial Portfolio Manager. As such, Becky continues to be the face of Fulton Bank. She feels privileged to build meaningful relationships in the community and feels rewarded helping businesses grow.

Community service has been a meaningful and enduring part of Becky’s life. In her early years, she was active with the CLA, the Lebanon Valley Chamber of Commerce (Ambassador of the Year award), the Kiwanis Club (leadership positions, including President), and the United Way. As her career progressed, Becky continued to expand her community involvement, serving as a Junior Achievement classroom consultant, and a Chalkboard Financial volunteer to teach financial literacy classes. She also served on the board of the American Heart Association, chairing the Go Red for Women committee for several years; and was the President of Lady Falcon Basketball, the parent group for CCHS basketball.

More recently, Becky had been Secretary of the Lebanon County Commission for Women and had served as co-chair of the Women’s Hall of Fame committee. In addition, she has served with the Lebanon Valley Educational Partnership and the Lebanon Community Library (Board Secretary). Each of these organizations has enriched Becky’s understanding of the needs within the community and allowed her to contribute in meaningful and lasting ways. Becky has mentored many female professionals and young women to take the initiative and get involved in the community. She sets a great example of a working professional woman who volunteers her time and talents. Becky had stood in front of many classrooms to share how education can lead to fulfilling careers. She has also provided valuable financial literacy training to women of all ages. Becky is an inspiration to her co-workers and to community organizations. She gives of her personal time because she truly wants Lebanon County to be a better place to live, work, and enjoy.
