Deborah Clancy | 2026 Hall of Fame Program Bio

Deborah Clancy is a social worker who earned her Bachelor of Social Work degree from Temple University. She has extensive experience in case management, having worked with Lebanon County Children and Youth Services as well as Lebanon County MH/ID/EI. Deborah currently serves at Lebanon County Developmental and Disability Services, where she supports adults with intellectual disabilities in achieving stability, independence, and meaningful community connections.
In addition to her professional work, Deborah actively supports her husband in pastoral ministry, particularly in serving individuals transitioning out of addiction and incarceration. She is also a dedicated volunteer with Church World Service (CWS) Lancaster, where she has led and coordinated a Welcome Team for refugees resettling in Lebanon County.
Through this role, Deborah and her team have assisted refugee families in connecting with local resources, building community relationships, and working toward self-sufficiency.
Through her work and volunteer service, Deborah has witnessed firsthand the positive impact immigrants bring to the community and is continually inspired by their bravery, resilience, and determination to build new lives.
