Jessica Kosoff | 2026 Hall of Fame Program Bio
Nominated by Kerry Royer
Jessica Kosoff began her studies at the University of Colorado Boulder, where her love of math, science, and hands‑on problem‑solving led her to architectural engineering. She quickly gravitated toward construction and pushed forward despite the industry’s male‑dominated culture. Wanting real field experience, she spent the summer before her senior year working as a construction laborer, learning skills from tying rebar to placing concrete.
After graduation, Jessica started as an estimator before moving into a project engineer role, where she thrived in the fast‑paced, unpredictable environment of on‑site construction. In 2002, while working on the Lebanon Good Samaritan Hospital project with Arthur Funk & Sons, she became pregnant with her first daughter and sought a better balance between work and family. Funk welcomed her into a part‑time role, allowing her to continue advancing her career.
Since joining the company, Jessica has contributed across preconstruction, operations, marketing, client development, and employee advocacy. She remains active in community organizations, serves on several boards, belongs to the Lebanon Rotary, and holds a real estate license. Her most significant milestone came in August, when she became one of the company’s first non‑family owners—a notable achievement for a woman in the field.
Jessica and her husband, Ed, live in Mt. Gretna with their daughters, Lucy and Sadie.
