About the Women’s History Exhibit
The Women’s History Exhibit is a joint effort of the Lebanon County Historical Society and the Lebanon County Commission for Women. This exhibit highlights the significant role women have played in Lebanon County over the last 211 years.
To celebrate, and promote the importance of women’s history education, the Historical Society is offering free admission to Lebanon County student field trip groups beginning in October 2024 – March 2025 recommended for grades 4-12.
The Women’s History Exhibit team brought together a substantive and meaningful collection of stories and artifacts honoring women of Lebanon County covering many aspects of society since its establishment in 1813. The team included LCHS Staff and Volunteers Barb Gaffney, Sherie Strohman, Shane Keenan, and Dr. Bruce Bomberger, with Maribel Torres, and Becky Woodhouse of the Lebanon County Commission for Women.
